BBQ Biscuit Bake

This is by far my easiest, cheapest, AND most husband requested meal!

1 lb ground beef or turkey

1 cup of BBQ sauce

1 diced onion

1 tube of refrigerator biscuits (like Pillsbury, or Grands) OR about the same amount of homemade biscuit dough. Or even use leftover dinner rolls!

1/2 to 1 cup of grated cheese

How to:

Brown the meat with the diced onion. Drain. I like to drain mine in an actual colander. Takes only a few minutes, but gets almost all of the grease out!

Put the meat back in the pan or a bowl and stir in BBQ sauce.

Spread into lightly greased 8x8 or 9x9 pan.

Top the meat mixture with cheese, and then top with biscuits!

Bake according to biscuit directions.

Note: You can also put the biscuits underneath the meat mixture. This is easier with biscuit dough. Just grease the pan well and spread the dough in, then top with meat and cheese. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
